Sustainable Development Solutions Network
A Global Initiative for the United Nations
The SDSN is building a network of universities, research centers, and other knowledge institutions. Members are organized around National or Regional SDSNs to promote Solutions Initiatives, develop educational materials for sustainable development, and contribute to setting the post-2015 agenda for their region.
The Texas Sustainable Energy Research Institute has been accepted to join the SDSN initiative and will be a member of the Regional Mediterranean Network hosted by the University of Sienna, Italy. Our contributions will focus on the areas of the Low-Carbon Energy and Sustainable Industry; Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Cities; Global Governance and Norms for Sustainable Development; and Redefining the Role of Business for Sustainable Development.
