India cancelling huge coal power station because it wants to focus on renewable energy

The indian state of Gujarat has scrapped their plans to build a major coal power plant in favor of renewable options. Government officials have said that they are meeting their energy requirements so they are able to focus on building renweable sources of energy instead.
