Dr. Yuanxiong Guo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Cyber Security at The University of Texas at San Antonio since 2019. Before that, he was with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oklahoma State University. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida in 2014. His current research focuses on data analytics, security and privacy with applications to Internet of things, cyber-physical systems, and cloud/edge systems. He received the 2017 Visiting Faculty Research Program Award from the Air Force Research Laboratory. He is the recipient of the Best Paper Award in IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) 2011 and the IEEE INFOCOM Distinguished TPC Member Award in 2016 and 2017. He is an Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
