Hariharan Krishnaswami, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering
Dr. Krishnaswami has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Texas at San Antonio as Assistant Professor since 2009. He obtained his PhD degree from University of Minnesota in 2009. His PhD thesis is titled, “Three-port dc/dc converters to interface renewable energy sources with bi-directional load and energy storage ports”. Before joining PhD, he has worked for GE Healthcare, Bangalore, India as Design Engineer between 2002 and 2005. His research interests are in power electronic converter topologies for renewable energy conversion, photovoltaic inverters, bi-directional dc/dc converters and electronic transformer.
