Institute Hosts Open House for New Downtown Offices

The Texas Sustainable Energy Research Institute (Institute) welcomed the community and guests at an Open House showcasing the new downtown offices of the Institute, Mission Verde Alliance (MVA), and the San Antonio Clean Energy Incubator (SACEI) on July 19th, 2012.
The strong partnership between the Institute, Mission Verde Alliance and the San Antonio Clean Energy Incubator provides an integrated approach in service to the community and energy future of San Antonio by promoting clean technology and socioeconomic prosperity. We are excited to align our initiatives with a presence in the downtown San Antonio area in order to be at the heart of community change and the socioeconomic beat. Our new downtown offices are located in the Washington Place building at 215 South San Saba Street.
Students from the University of Texas at San Antonio provided musical entertainment and poster presentations related to sustainability research in order to display their passion and devotion as up and coming leaders committed to transforming the energy future. Industry partners such as Greenstar LED were also present to showcase their recent endeavors.
