Conference Theme: Promoting Sustainable Energy for South Texas
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is hosting the Sixth annual Engineering, Science and Management Student Conference on April 19, 2012. This Conference is designed to showcase student accomplishment, promote research excellence at UTSA, and highlight science, engineering and management education in San Antonio. The conference theme is “Promoting Engineering, science and Business for the Future of Texas” reflecting expectations for UTSA and its alumni to emerge at the forefront of research and development excellence at state and national levels.
The UTSA ABES Student Conference 2012 will provide UTSA students with an exceptional opportunity to present research projects or to exhibit other significant accomplishments, such as capstone senior projects, to the UTSA and San Antonio community.
Participants and attendees will gain professional presentation experience, network with their peers and faculty, and learn about graduate education and science as a career. Special session on career building will be organized by a panel of faculty and industrial individuals
